What shall we eat tonight? In times of scarcity: The daily menu during World War II

The famous question "What shall we eat tonight?" was often heard in Belgian families during World War II. This will be the central theme of our tour, answering questions such as: How did people cope with rationing? How did the liberation affect our menu?
During a half-hour tour of the museum, we will tell you all about wartime cooking.
Practical information
Tour times
- Dutch guided visits start at: 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm

Frech guided visits start at: 10am, 11am, 12am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm
Attention: Registration for the tour is required via reservatie@warheritage.be
Visitors for the tour may report to the reception desk.
Admission
The Military Museum will be open for free on 21 April 2024 as part of Heritage Day.
Accessibility
We have is an elevator, so the tour is accessible to all.
